Hello Scubajet users,

My 3years scubajet motor is not turning any more. I hear some clicks at 100% speed. I used WD 40 and waited 12 hours. it was not helping!!

What can I do?

Your help will be highly appreciated

I had 3 extremely stuck rotors.. I put them in a bucket of Evapo-rust from Amazon for 24 hours. They were submerged all the way to the rotor. In 24 hours they work like new. All rust is gone!

Hi dive_tom,

Congratulations on being the first to post in our new forum! 🎉

Please try the following:

Use WD-40 or a similar thin oil to inject into the four holes at the front of the rotor. There’s also another hole on the side where you can add some oil.

Wait a few hours, then attempt to turn the rotor using pliers. If it becomes loose, that's great—you’ll only need to replace the rotor. If it doesn’t loosen up, unfortunately, you’ll have to replace the entire motor unit.

Let me know if this helps!

I've already tried using pliers. Yes, maybe WD-40 will help loosen the rotor. I'll give it a try. Thanks!
